New Year... New Colors!

At only 23 years old, Oogusu Masahide has already been selling his hand-crafted ceramics at his family's kiln for five years. Oogusu senior is an accomplished traditional Imari ceramics maker, but it is the family's original contemporary Camellia Series that is quickly becoming their signature work.

Brighten your day and welcome the new year with gorgeous colors on these hand-crafted Japanese tea sets and plates. Each camellia flower on each piece is hand carved meaning each flower is slightly different. It is variations like this that make hand-made wares a joy to look at and a pleasure to use. By contrast, mass-produced wares seem uniform and soulless.
