Sure is getting chilly in Imari these days! The balmy Pacific air is long gone and the autumn leaves have had their day. Now we get the dreaded Mongolian High, cold and dry. Brrrrr. Got to refill the old kerosene heater in my living room.
This is the perfect season for heart-warming Japanese green tea and sake. And just in time for this Mongolian invasion, I put up new pottery green tea sets and sake sets from Azuchi Kiln in Okawachiyama Village on our newly re-vamped secretkilns pottery shop.
Azuchi's wares have a wonderful crackled glaze and warm earth-tones. This is pottery that you want to use and share with friends.
